GOAL SETTING PART 1

What Is Your Why?

In order to achieve the things you want you need to set goals, the problem is most people do this aimlessly and without any real purpose meaning they quickly lose focus and motivation and never really end up with the result they want

 

Whenever you set any goal, whether it be health and fitness related or any other area of your life you need to know your WHY?

 

What is your why?

 

This is one on the most powerful statements you can ask yourself.

 

Ask it to yourself now out loud. ‘What is my why?’

 

You may feel that it’s a stupid thing to do but trust me on this one.

 

So many times we are focused on the ‘What’ and the ‘How’ and not on the real reason we do things, not on the‘WHY’. Why you get out of bed in the morning? Why you go to work? Why you go to the gym and improve the way you look and feel?

 

If you jump straight to the what and how you miss the real point of why we do anything. You miss the emotion and the feelings behind why you are deciding to do what you do.

 

Now don’t get me wrong, the ‘what’ and the ‘how’ are important, but I’m just suggesting not the most important. We need to know what to do to make shifts in your mind and body and we need to know how we will do it. But we need to know why first.

 

This will be the single most important motivator for you while pursuing any goal and is crucial if you are going to make changes in your mind, body, and life.

 

I suggest you write down your why and look at it everyday in order to give you real purpose throughout the pursuit of any goal you have.
