The only way to get motivated is to find your WHY?...
'I'm just not motivated!'
We ask all the guys we talk to 'what is currently holding you back?'
The number one reason Men over 30 aren't as fit and healthy as they would like to be and ultimately not happy with they way they look is motivation and more specifically the lack of it
When you were in your 20's it was easy, time was in abundance, your body felt indestructible, your work wasn't so demanding and you were in great shape
Then real life happened and other things took priority
The good news is that you can regain motivation and regain your health and fitness with this one simple thing
WHAT IS YOUR WHY?
This is one on the most powerful statements you can ask yourself.
Ask it to yourself now out loud. ‘What is my why?’
You may feel that it’s a stupid thing to do but trust me on this one.
So many times we are focused on the ‘What’ and the ‘How’ and not on the real reason we do things, not on the ‘WHY’. Why you get out
of bed in the morning? Why you go to work? Why you go to the gym and improve the way you look and feel?
If you jump straight to the what and how you miss the real point of why we do anything. You miss the emotion and the feelings behind why you are deciding
to do what you do.
Now don’t get me wrong, the ‘what’ and the ‘how’ are important, but I’m just suggesting not the most important. We need to know what to do to make
shifts in your mind and body and we need to know how we will do it. But we need to know why first.
This will be the single most important motivator for you while transforming your health and fitness and is critical for the changes you are about to make in your mind, body, and life.
Now write down your why and look at it everyday in order to give you real purpose throughout this process.
I suggest making it more than just being 'a bit fitter' and maybe make it more than just about yourself...I know my why is my family and making sure
I'll be in the best shape possible to be around for a very long time
Really think about it. Don’t just write anything down. I work with people like you day in, day out, and the stresses of life have blurred their minds
and made them lose focus.
